A Portuguese Love Affair, Second Edition | No 24
Add a touch of Art to your dining table this winter with our Portuguese Love Affair Trivets.
A collaboration with British Artist Alexandria Coe, to create a set of limited edition hand painted trivets, handmade sustainably by artisans in the home of tile making using recycled clay.
Inspired by the tiles, mainly in blue and white 'azulejos' which are commonly found in Portugal, adorning the exterior of restaurants, churches, homes and fountains.

The church, as across a lot of Europe, has always had an historical influence, so this modern day interpretation of Adam and Eve felt a suitable motif. Painted in blue and white, the colours of the Atlantic ocean and the sky on a sunny day.
This collection is ideal for adding detail to any tablescape as coasters or on your coffee or bedside tables. They can also be used as part of a larger design on your bathroom or kitchen walls amongst other tiles.
"After a recent trip I felt inspired to create my own, something that reflects the growing modernisation of Portugal and the country's traditional heritage."Alexandria Coe"
Working with Portuguese artisans to create sustainable art is really important to me as a designer. Keeping the inspiring local traditional methods alive and intertwining them with modern design is key for the future of art and interiors." Jade, escolhido
Measurements: 14cm x 14cm
Care: Due to the handmade elements of these, we recommend washing by hand only.
Please note, these designs are part of a limited edition. They are individually made and painted, therefore any two designs are not exactly the same.
